How Much Funding?

– Repayable 50% contribution up to $10 million.
– No interest over maximum 10-year repayment period starting 1 year after project completion
– Stacking up to 75% allowed

WHO QUALIFIES?

For-profit organizations that are incorporated in Canada

Eligible Activities & Expenditures

– Commercialization of new agricultural, agri-food or agri-based products, technology or processes
– Adapting operations to accommodate new products, technologies or processes
– Demonstration for market penetration

Development of showcase site
Expansion or modernization of facilities to accommodate new products, processes or technologies
Purchase/installation of equipment
Training
Marketing (must be minor component of project)
Capital expenditures
Contracted services
Salaries
Materials/ consumables
